It’s Make-a-Will Week in BC

Having a Will in place is important for you and your family. Below are a few reasons why:

  1. It creates certainty about how you wish your assets to be distributed, and more specifically ensures the people you are close to are provided for.
  2. It eliminates conflict and anxiety for your family in facilitating the process and administration of your estate.
  3. It enables you to designate care for your children and pets.

Bell Alliance can advise you on how to structure the ownership of your property to avoid potential issues on your passing.

We also strongly recommend you have a Representative Agreement and a Power of Attorney in place. These enable you to appoint others to make medical decisions for you should you become incapable of doing so yourself, and to deal with your financial affairs. Such documents lighten the guesswork for your family by appointing a decision maker, and avoid cumbersome and costly procedures.

During BC Make-A-Will Week Bell Alliance is offering discounts on our fees for those who inquire about our packages with our wills and estates team between April 10th – 16th, 2016: estates@bellalliance.ca
