André helps client with commercial contracts, commercial real estate transactions, secured commercial lending and land development.

André’s practice focuses on commercial real estate, land development and secured lending. He enjoys learning about his clients and their business, using that information to deliver pragmatic, business-oriented advice and solutions to help his clients meet objectives, manage relationships and mitigate risk.

André has worked with clients operating in a wide variety of sectors, including real estate development, multi-residential, manufacturing, retail, professional services, cannabis operations, renewable energy and non-profits. He helps his clients with the purchase, sale, leasing, financing and development of real estate assets. He also reviews, negotiates and drafts commercial contracts related to real estate matters such as purchase agreements, leases, licenses, easements, loan agreements, construction agreements, service agreements and co-ownership agreements.

Prior to joining Bell Alliance LLP, André was a commercial real estate associate at a global law firm where he assisted clients with high-value real estate transactions and relied on his background in science and environmental law to advise on complex environmental matters related to permits and approvals, regulatory compliance, and risk management.

Outside of work, André enjoys skiing, hiking and playing soccer. He serves on the board of a non-profit promoting local artists and he is (not so) patiently awaiting the return of live music. As a recent transplant from Ottawa, he spends much of his free time exploring Vancouver and visiting the West Coast’s bounty of natural wonders. André still gets distracted by mountain vistas – the novelty has yet to wear off.
