Grace practices in various areas of corporate, commercial, and real estate law. Grace has taken on a particular interest in franchise law and she assists both franchisors and franchisees.
Grace has assisted clients:
- Buy and sell businesses by way of shares or assets.
- Draft and review contracts, such as commercial leases, asset or share purchase agreements, shareholder agreements, licensing agreements, manufacturing agreements, distribution agreements.
- Create limited partnerships for real estate developments.
- Review and update franchise disclosure documents and corresponding franchise agreements.
Grace finished her J.D. at Thompson Rivers University in 2018. Before joining Bell Alliance, Grace was a summer student and an articling student at Aydin Bird Business Lawyers. Grace attended University of British Columbia for her undergraduate degree and finished with a double major in Political Science and Philosophy in 2014. Prior to law school, Grace worked in various retail industries, such as clothing, banking, and food and beverages. For community work, Grace volunteered in Access Pro Bono and Law Students’ Legal Advice Program.
Grace came from Taiwan and she is fluent in both English and Mandarin Chinese.
Outside of law, Grace enjoys yoga, indoor cardio, swimming, and sightseeing.
