Triple 21 Campaign – Down Syndrome Research Foundation

Scroll

Richard attended the DSRF Breakfast with Belugas at the Vancouver Aquarium today in support of World Down Syndrome Day, March 21, 2014. The impact that the organization has on families faced with Down Syndrome is remarkable and Bell Alliance is proud to be a Triple 21 Partner.

The aim of Triple 21 (so named because Down syndrome is caused by a triplication of the 21st chromosome) is to develop a consistent base of support, ensuring the long-term effectiveness of our educational programs for children and young adults with Down syndrome.

The goals of Triple 21 are simple. They are seeking 210 partners at $21/month, and 21 partners at $210/month.

21% of the funds generated through Triple 21 will be used to provide bursaries for families who cannot afford their programs. The balance of the funds will be used for program development, information services, family support, and research.

We encourage everyone to take a look at this campaign as an opportunity to give back and contribute.
