Immigration Update: Express Entry Rounds of Invitations
Earlier this year, we blogged about Express Entry and how to create an Express Entry Profile. After creating a profile, candidates are put into an Express Entry Pool and ranked against each other using CRS points system out of 1200. Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada has been regularly selecting the highest-ranking Candidates from the pool and inviting them to apply for Permanent Residence to Canada. Here is a summary on Express Entry Draws and the required points for each Invitation to Apply.
On November 12th, the government announced changes to the points under the Comprehensive Ranking System. These changes come into effect November 19th. Read our preliminary notes about the changes, which are subject to change as we learn more.
