Hi, I’m Janice Magh. I can help with your commercial leasing questions.

I take the time to listen to each client’s circumstances, priorities, and goals, and I give practical, thoughtful advice they can rely on. What I enjoy most is helping clients find solutions that work for them and seeing them move forward with confidence.

Before joining Bell Alliance, I was in-house counsel for a national retailer, where I focused on commercial leasing. I negotiated and managed a high volume of leases for retail locations across Canada, including offers to lease, renewals, amendments, assignments, and landlord consents. Working inside the business showed me how lease terms such as rent, renewal options, use clauses, and exclusivity provisions affect operations long after a lease is signed. I bring that perspective to every lease I review.

At Bell Alliance, I advise landlords and tenants on commercial leases, and I also assist clients with general corporate and commercial matters.

I am fluent in both English and Cantonese, and I value the opportunity to work with clients from a variety of backgrounds. I hold an undergraduate degree from the University of Alberta and earned my Juris Doctor from City University of Hong Kong. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, travelling, and picking up new hobbies.
