Miriam Giordani

Hi, I’m Miriam Giordani. I help individuals, families, and businesses navigate Canada’s immigration system and find strategies that work for their particular circumstances.

I am an immigration consultant at Bell Alliance LLP.

Practice Areas

  • Work Permits
  • Family Sponsorship
  • Provincial Nomination
  • Permanent Residency and Citizenship Applications

I am a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC-IRB) and hold a Class L3 (Unrestricted Practice) license. My practice includes temporary and permanent residence matters, including work and study permits, Express Entry, Provincial Nominee Programs, family sponsorship, citizenship, and more complex immigration matters.

My path to immigration practice has been shaped by both my education and my own experience of building a life in Canada. I hold a Graduate Diploma in Immigration and Citizenship Law from Queen’s University, as well as a Magister degree from the University of Tübingen in Germany, where I studied German Linguistics, German Public Law, and Political Science. My professional experience also includes working in one of Vancouver’s top rated immigration law firms, where I gained hands-on experience across a wide range of immigration matters. I bring that experience to my work with clients by providing clear, practical guidance and taking the time to understand each person’s circumstances, priorities, and longer-term goals.

My connection to Canadian immigration is also personal. I first came to Canada from Germany in 2010 on a Working Holiday visa, later became a permanent resident, and eventually a Canadian citizen. Having gone through the immigration process myself, I understand how much can depend on these applications and how important it is to have clear, practical guidance along the way.

I aim to make the immigration process as clear and manageable as possible for my clients. I want clients to understand not only what we are doing, but why we are doing it. Immigration matters rarely exist in isolation, and I enjoy looking at the bigger picture and developing strategies that take both a client’s immediate needs and longer-term goals into account.

Outside of work, I am a mom of three and have called Vancouver home for many years.

I have helped clients with:

  • Permanent residence, including Express Entry and Provincial Nominee Programs
  • Family sponsorship
  • Labour Market Impact Assessments
  • Work permits, including LMIA and LMIA-exempt categories
  • Study permits
  • Visitor visas
  • Citizenship applications
  • Refusals and more complex immigration matters
